01 Quote request

Every appointed carrier, rated before the producer is back from lunch.

A submission from the website form or a forwarded email is keyed once. Bevel rates it with each carrier you are appointed with and files the comparison to the account in the AMS.

One keying, every carrier
Class codes, payroll, vehicles and loss runs go in once and are mapped to each carrier’s own questions.
A decline is an answer too
When a carrier will not write the class, the reason is filed beside the quotes that came back.

02 Renewal due

Renewals quoted 45 days out, not the week they expire.

Every morning Bevel pulls what expires inside the window, re-rates it with the current schedule attached and queues it for the carrier. A CSR sees only the ones that moved.

Held when the premium jumps
A change over 10% waits for a person with the old and new schedules side by side.
The insured hears first
A renewal summary goes out the day it is re-rated, so the conversation starts six weeks early.

03 COI request

A holder’s email in, a signed certificate out.

Bevel reads the request the way a CSR would: who the insured is, who wants the certificate and what wording they asked for. Then it checks every word against the policy before anything is issued.

Only what the policy supports
Additional insured, waiver of subrogation, primary and non-contributory: each is issued only where the endorsement is on file.
Filed where you would file it
The certificate, the email it answered and the policy data it read are attached to the account.

Review mode

Nothing leaves until a person has said yes 25 times.

Every operation starts in review mode, per carrier. A CSR approves each run with one click; after 25 clean approvals in a row it goes live, and a single rejection sends the count back to zero.

  • A holder Bevel has never seen, a limit above the policy or a premium change over 10% is held for a person
  • Held runs wait in Needs review and are never sent to a carrier

Hands off

It works with the AMS and the carriers you already have.

Four agency management systems and 38 carriers today, by API where one exists and through the portal where it does not. The numbers are the operations each one supports.

Ask about a carrier

Questions agencies ask before they connect the AMS

If yours is not here, ask it on a walkthrough. The person on the call has worked a CSR desk.

Book a 20-minute walkthrough
Which agency management systems does Bevel work with?

Agencybook, Fairlead AMS, Policydesk and Rostrum today. The connection is read-only for the first two weeks, and if yours has an API or a nightly export we can usually add it in a week.

Does Bevel log in to carrier portals as us?

Yes, with credentials you place in the vault, and only for operations you have switched on for that carrier. Where a carrier offers an API, Bevel uses that instead and no login is stored.

What exactly is review mode?

It is where every operation starts. Each run waits for a CSR to approve it with one click; after 25 clean approvals in a row the operation goes live for that carrier, and one rejection resets the count.

What does Bevel refuse to send on its own?

A certificate for a holder it has never seen, wording the policy does not support, a limit above the policy and a renewal that moves more than 10%. Those wait in Needs review for a person and are never sent.

Who is responsible for a certificate Bevel issues?

The agency, exactly as now. Bevel issues only what the policy data supports and keeps the evidence: the request, the data it read, the document and the name of whoever approved the operation.

How long until we are live?

Connecting the AMS takes about twenty minutes. Most agencies run certificates in review mode for two weeks, go hands-off on those, and switch on a second operation in week three.

See it against your own book.

Bring one certificate request and one renewal to a walkthrough. We run both through review mode while you watch.
